Kivo is a creative AI platform that turns your descriptions and photos into images. Video is a planned extension, not active yet.
02Service provider

03Eligibility
The service is for people able to enter into a contract under applicable law. Minors need their legal representative’s agreement.
04Account creation
You create an account with a valid email address or via Google. The information you provide must be accurate. One account per person.
05Account security
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity carried out through your account. Tell us about any unauthorised access.
06Kivo Coins
Coins are Kivo’s usage unit. Each generation has a fixed price in Coins: Standard Image 1K = 5 Coins, 2K = 8 Coins, 4K = 12 Coins (from the Creator plan).
Coins are reserved when a generation starts and automatically refunded if it fails. Coins are not money, cannot be exchanged for cash and do not expire.
07Free plan
The Free plan includes 20 Coins at sign-up, Standard image generation in 1K and 2K (up to 4 generations per day) and personal use. No credit card is required.
08Paid subscriptions
Creator: 300 Coins/month — €19.99/month. Pro: 900 Coins/month — €39.99/month. Studio: 2,500 Coins/month — €79.99/month.
Paid plans are intended for professional and commercial workflows. Detailed configuration (limits, features) is the one live in the product.
09Annual subscriptions
Annual billing costs 10 times the monthly price, paid once: Creator €199.90/year, Pro €399.90/year, Studio €799.90/year — 2 months free.
10Coin packs
Available packs: 100 Coins for €9.99, 500 Coins for €39.99, 1,500 Coins for €99.99 and 5,000 Coins for €299.99.
Purchased Coins are non-refundable, except for failed generations (automatic refund) or where mandatory law says otherwise.
11Billing
Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices include VAT. You will be told about price changes before renewal. If there is any divergence, the live product configuration prevails over these Terms.
12Cancellation
You can cancel anytime from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid; you keep access until that date.
13Refunds
A failed generation is automatically refunded in Coins. For anything else, contact us: every request is reviewed individually.
In case of a refund or payment dispute (chargeback), the corresponding Coins are reversed according to Kivo’s ledger.
14AI-generated content
Generated content may contain errors, vary from one generation to another, not be unique and resemble existing works.
It is not guaranteed to suit a particular purpose: review it before professional use. No exclusive copyright ownership is guaranteed; you are responsible for checking that your intended use is lawful.
15Uploaded content
You keep your rights to the content you upload. You grant Kivo the limited licence necessary to technically process that content to provide the service.
16User responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- the content you upload;
- holding the necessary rights and permissions, including for identifiable people;
- the prompts you submit;
- how you use generated content;
- respecting copyright, trademarks, publicity/privacy rights and applicable law.
17Commercial use
The Free plan is limited to personal use. Paid plans (Creator and above) cover commercial use, including client work.
A paid subscription does not automatically guarantee copyright ownership of generated content.
18Prohibited uses
In particular, you must not:
- generate or distribute illegal, violent, hateful or sexual content involving minors;
- impersonate a person or create deceptive content that harms others;
- infringe intellectual property rights;
- circumvent service limits, resell the service or extract data massively;
- interfere with the platform’s security or proper operation.
19Intellectual property
The Kivo brand, the site and its design are protected. You keep the rights to your uploaded content. Terms of use for generated content are described in the “AI-generated content” section.
20Third-party AI providers
Kivo relies on Google’s models (Gemini / Nano Banana) for images; the Higgsfield API is planned for video (coming soon).
Only the information necessary for the generation (prompt, source image) is transmitted to providers.
21Service availability
Kivo strives for continuous access, without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Features may evolve, be suspended or be disabled.
22Failed generations
If a generation fails, the reserved Coins are automatically refunded and you can try again.
23Account suspension
If you breach these Terms, Kivo may suspend or terminate your account, to the extent necessary and proportionate.
24Account deletion
You can delete your account from Settings. Deletion is permanent; only data with a legal retention duty is kept without any link to your identity.
25Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is”. Kivo does not guarantee that results will match your expectations or suit a particular professional use.
26Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Kivo’s liability is limited to direct damages and, at most, to the amounts you actually paid in the last 12 months.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited (including gross or intentional fault, and for consumers, mandatory rights).
27Changes to Kivo
Kivo evolves: new features, models or limits may be added, changed or removed. Features marked “coming soon” are not active yet.
28Changes to Terms
These Terms may be updated. You will be informed of important changes before they take effect; continued use means acceptance.
29Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. For consumers, mandatory protections of their country of residence still apply.
